Why do I blog? The first timer’s note

Because I wanted Oprah to interview me. Yup, no shit.
I always daydreamed about sharing my crazy encounters to bring laughter, lesson or both to people. I fantasized about doing it live on camera, with the great Oprah. But she’s soon retiring and I haven’t really done anything grand that’s worth being interviewed, yet. So I started a blog instead, chronicling my funny and sometimes sad first times.
I guess the point here is I want to share. Yes I like writing, that’s a given. But what sets blogging apart from say, keeping an old school journal, is its ability to share my thoughts with an audience. I want people to hear my stories—I want them to laugh with me, maybe cry with me at times and, learn a thing or two from me. Blogging is like my little way of giving back to life that has thrown me circumstances that I truly enjoyed, learned from or both.
